Generating awareness on the tangible and intangible heritage of Nizamuddin area especially amongst school children. Sair E Nizamuddin, the Self Help Group (SHG) of community heritage volunteers started in 2010 conduct heritage walk for school children as well as visitors. Over the years the heritage awareness programme has been established with many government and private schools in Delhi and NCR. To improve the site interpretation, the first ever children guidebook for any of ASI’s sites was published in 2011.
